Family Fun

I'm visiting my parents this weekend in the exciting town of Sylvania, Ohio. It's been very relaxing, which is definitely what I needed after the craziness of last weekend. Case in point, on Friday night, my mom and I had a big night out. We went to Lowe's to buy a dryer and to IHOP for dinner.

Actually, IHOP was great - except for the service (it took 40 minutes for two orders of pancakes and the waitress was really rude to a table of senior citizens behind us).

We ordered the New York Cheesecake pancakes and Carrot Cake pancakes and split them. To quote Rachael Ray, yum-o! Although probably extraordinarily fattening... I can't wait until we get IHOP in Columbus! Although maybe not if I want to continue to fit in my clothes.

Last night, we went to see the Borat movie. I laughed so hard, I thought I would either pee my pants or cry. Thankfully, I did neither. That would've added an extra layer of fun to the evening.

Don't you wish more men would wear bathing suits like the one to the right? The swim trunks men wear cover up way too much - something like Borat's green sling (for lack of a better word) is way better. (Hopefully, you realize I'm joking!)

Oh - I had a date on Thursday (I swear, the swimsuit reference did not remind me of him!) and it went pretty well, but I don't want to write too much about it. I'm so afraid I'll jinx it! I don't really have the best dating luck.
