Sarah Palin was asked by a child what a Vice President does and answered:
They're in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom.In charge of the Senate? Last time I checked, that was Harry Reid's job! The VP is only involved in the Senate if there's a tie! The VP is there to support the president, break ties in the Senate and fill in for the president if he kicks the bucket. That's it - nothing more.
Seriously...will someone please explain to me who is supporting this woman and why? I know she likes guns and giving birth and winking and cute folksy statements. And yes, she's attractive although she dresses a little strangely considering the Republican National Committee has spent $150,000 to buy her clothes. That's all well and good, but do we really want her in the Oval Office?
