If You're Sleepy & You Know It, Clap Your Hands!

It's 11:30 p.m. on a Friday night and I'm home from work now, having been there since 8 a.m. this morning. I was trapped in a small conference room with three other people and it was super boring.

While there, my co-workers decided I look like Janeane Garafolo.

I don't.

Book I Have Recently Read

I just finished The Shadow of The Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon and Lucia Graves.

It was very close to being a very good book. It was a little lengthy but there were quite a few fascinating plot twists. What bugged me most about this book is that the whole time I'm reading it, I picked up on an interesting parallel subplot to the story. Just when I'm thinking about how brilliant I am, the book just comes out and states this subplot directly. It ruined the book for me - it's like the author thinks we're stupid and can't figure out "his message,' so he's going to tell us directly. And the ending was a little annoying too. But if you ignore the last 50 pages or so, it's great!

New Product I Have Recently Tried

I just picked up a couple cans of this Starbucks' Doubleshot Light. Yum! It was very tasty - and just 70 calories, 4 grams of fat. It gave me quite the energy boost when I was holed up in a conference room today for hours on end.

Completely Disgusting News Story
I just read this article about how 60% of British people use whatever they have on hand to pick food out of their teeth - earrings, knives, etc. -- and that almost a quarter of those survey just leave the rank food in between their teeth.

To quote 80's starlets everywhere, gag me with a spoon! (but not an earring)
