(I know the correct spelling of please - the misspelling's just for effect!)
Yes, I saw The Devil Wears Prada with my mom on Sunday. No, I couldn't pick Prada out of a department store line-up. I shop at Target. (I would rather have lots of cute clothes than 1/2 of a really expensive item).
The movie was surprisingly good - very fun. Meryl Streep was fabulous. Plus, it had a great message - you always have a choice - even when you don't think you have a choice, you always have a choice about what kind of person you can be.
Which makes me wonder if I have any of Meryl Streep's Dragon Lady-ness buried somewhere inside me (or maybe it's closer to the surface).
Beware of Bank Robbers!
My friend Stephanie had her debit card number stolen. The low-life (the thief, not Stephanie) racked up $700 in charges somewhere in Florida. Obviously Steph won't have to pay for any of that, but what a pain.
What makes it worse: the police officer told her that all the person needs is a credit card number. They can have their own card made with whatever name they want and your credit card number. In fact, when you give your card to a waitress at a restaurant, they could be writing down the number and giving it to their friends to make cards.
It's SCARY!
