When People Shouldn't Talk

Ms. Lindsey Lohan is annoyed with the paparazzi because she thinks they're keeping her from winning an Oscar. She actually said - yes, these are her real words:

I said the other day, ‘I feel like they hound me more than they hound Madonna and she’s someone I’ve always aspired to be like.

Uh-huh...and then she kept talking....

I want to get a nomination. I want to win an Oscar. I want to be known for more than, like, going out. For being ‘the party girl.’

For some reason, she's irritating me. If you don't want to be known as the party girl, don't go out! It's not like she's been in any movies that are Oscar worthy. And quite frankly, you don't see Meryl Streep out shaking her groove thang. In fact, you don't even see the younger Oscar gals - Reese Witherspoon and Renee Zellweger out busting a move.

I just was struck by something - the paparazzi are always chasing after the girls who are out partying. Where are the boys? Why don't you ever see a drunk as a skunk Tobey McGuire or a Jake Gyllenhaal sans drawers? Methinks there might be some sexism going on! Although I guess K-Fed and Colin Farrell are media fodder...
